Production Company Logo and Name (Film)

A post detailing production company logos and names that will influence your own production company. What will you call your production and for what reasons? The post should include both images and detailed text.


Interview Questions (Film and Print)

If you are interviewing anybody in any of you r productions you need to evidence research and preparation for this. Examples from other products is vital here as is examples of the questions you intend to ask with a write-up detailing their reason for inclusion.


Sample Script (Film)

If you plan to have any dialogue in your film you need to upload a sample of the script you intend to use. This should be written on the industry standard script template which you can easily find on google.


Detailed Storyboard (Film)

A post showing the complete storyboard for your film; you need to include what will feature during the titles and after the titles when the story of your film begins. Too many students have not shown how their storyboards have developed into a fully realised product and this will impact negatively on grading.


Typography: Researching Existing Titles (Film and Print)

A post that demonstrates the development of your film title; this should not just be a post with your film title, it should show how the title relates to the codes and conventions of your genre with examples of films with titles that influence your own.

Final Soundtrack Ideas (Film and Radio)


A post with examples of the music you have finally decided to include in your film and why you have chosen them, how do they relate to genre of the film you are creating? Remember the music chosen cannot be licensed music so you will have to use music you have permission to use.

Recent and Past Influences (Film and Print)

You should upload a post displaying anything that you have recently come across that will influence your production. This may be a particular type of shot, use of font, location, lighting and so on; try to find as many specific examples and upload as separate posts.

Production Summary (Film and Print)

A post based on a recent production shoot, video or still photography, with examples and a detailed write-up and what the next steps of your production are.

In your write-up you may want to include...

  • How the images you collect relate to the genre of your piece
  • How successful the shoot was
  • What mistakes you need to look out for
  • What the next steps are.


Example Layout (Print)

If you are completing any sort of print based brief, such as a front page or article, you need to ensure you upload a post based on the intended layout design of your products.

Target Audience Vox Pops (Film and Print)

Collect a series of vox-pops, a series of really short interviews, collecting peoples opinions on the expected codes and conventions of the product you are creating; this can be completed as a moving image piece and uploaded onto your blogs via YouTube.


Target Audience Questionnaire

Design a 10 question Questionnaire researching the target and their genre expectations. Present sample 10 people who you expect are your target audience. Summarise the results with a 300 word report and upload onto your blog with graphical analysis and a sample questionnaire.
